Father Peter Funk and Brother Michael Gallagher, (Benedictine Monks from the Holy Cross Monastery in Beaumont Texas) dear friends of and wonderful supporters of The Community of Hope present workshops on Lectio Divina at the 11th Annual CoH Conference.

 

 

 

The 11th Annual Conference of The Community of Hope began on June 12 with Workshops and the day ended with Holy Eucharist.  The Celebrant at the Eucharist was the Rt. Rev. Rayford High.  The Rev. Dr. Pittman McGehee gave the homily for that service and the Trinity Jazz Ensemble provided the music.  June 13 began with workshops followed by the keynote address to the conference by The Rev. Pittman McGehee.  The afternoon was filled with networking, news of The Community of Hope International, and hearing from and about many centers and their successes and frustrations.  Friday night (pictured left) the attendees took part in Taize Worship.  On Saturday morning Fr. Peter Funk and Br. Michael Gallagher gave a presentation on "Hospitality in Benedictine Life".
